Steve Frank
Steve Frank is a mechanical
engineer with over 15 years of experience in engineering design
and fabrication. The unique combination of engineering design
and hands-on manufacturing experience allows Steve to create machinery
and components that are equally well defined in both function
and form. As an engineer, Steve has designed machinery, tooling,
and individual components for industrial x-ray equipment, automated
manufacturing equipment, and instrument calibration systems. Additionally,
Steve has several years of experience in testing, data acquisition,
and writing formal test reports.
Prior to his engineering career,
Steve worked as a mechanic and fabricator in the automotive
industry with a particular interest in racing. Steve has built
and worked with stretch limousines, baja race cars, sports
racing cars, formula cars, sprint cars, and go karts. Steve
continues to race sports cars and go karts and instructs part
time at the Panoz Racing School.
